The South Yorkshire Flower Hub is an online wholesale shop selling locally grown British flowers from a variety of flower farmers in the region. It is aimed at local event florists and retail florists who would like to use local high quality flowers which have little mileage attached. Some farmers grow on a small scale and some large. Therefore there may be some VAT on some of the growers' flowers which will be highlighted beside the grower and on the invoice. Florists will be asked for proof on registration that their business is floristry to enable buying wholesale.
Florists will have access to the site from 6am on Monday until 5pm Tuesday. Once florists have chosen and paid for the flowers they want, a picking list will be sent to the flower farmers, and these flowers will be picked, stripped and conditioned ready for you to collect on Thursday between 9 and 3 pm, or on a Wednesday evening by prior agreement once all the flowers have been delivered.
